John-

No, sorry to say that I don't know of a 3rd party equivalent to Power Editor. I'm going to make an assumption here, but I'm pretty sure that TS is mechanized like System Writer Plus (the predecessor to TS). What SW+ had was a pre-processor that interpreted Easy Language codes and generated TurboPascal compiler syntax. I'm guessing that today they use a C compiler. They then compile and save the object code to execute at run time. That way both SC and TS can run the compiled object but only TS can create it. When you buy TS eod version, I think you're essentially getting SC + Power Editor. My guess is that the engine for the conversion preprocessor is included in SC but lacks the enhancements to interpret all the extensions that TS has.

None of this, unfortunately, helps you much in trying to create all the tools that SC is capable of running. With the info that 3rd party developers would be provided by Omega, you can probably create anything you want with a good C++ compiler, but it will depend in large part how they go about distributing that info. I'm sure there are agreements to be signed and disclosures to be made about your business. In any case, a person should probably start at the Omega ftp site. Among other things I found a copy of the API which describes the interface between a server and TS Charting.
