I've asked if anyone knew the details of the IFMX reorg before and never got an answer, although I got criticized as being pro-ORCL. I read an article in the San Jose Mercury News (which lately has been increasingly unreliable) that claimed that IFMX is closing all of the Menlo Park offices and consolidating all CA operations in (I think they said) 5 other offices in the bay area. The article didn't say specifically where engineers in the MP office were going, but it mentioned the Oakland office enough times in the article to make me worry. Does anyone know what's going to happen to people at the MP offices? I'm especially curious about the engineering staff, but I'd like to know about any of them. I don't believe that many people working in MP and living on the Peninsula will be willing to commute to Oakland, so I'm hoping that other arrangements have been made for those people. Although maybe they did a survey and more people live in Walnut Creek than in Palo Alto...
