F/T 60 Minutes had a special about a week ago on two Public Schools, one in Texas and the other in the Bronx and they took I believe 500 Inner Core Students into a 12 Month Program and the results have been astonishing. several of
the Bronx Students had won Scholarships to private H.S.
One I recall was a $39,000 scholarship to a private H.S. in
Massachussetts, Probably Deerfield Academy...These kids were predominately Minorities;-)
