Joe,

Winters along the Front Range of Colorado have become very mild during the last decade. Last winter saw no temperatures below 0F, and many, many days above 60F in Boulder.

Is this good or bad? Who knows, but it is definitely indicative of rapid change. Colorado used to have cold winters.
