Hey, let's face it: Gore studied 8 years at the feet of the Master, and his first appointment each day is with his pollsters.

And Bush has no pollsters and his father drives a truck for a living. Be fair here.
This is very important election because for the first time since Eisenhower because of the surplus there is money to spend and/or return to the taxpayers. How we do it will affect us all for a very long time. And as much as I would like my rate reduced from 40-33%, I feel that there are more important task to accomplish first. I hope Gore can do it without creating a mess, but I know that Bush wont be able to do much if he cuts those highest rates first. There are hard working folks out there, the young, the elderly etc. who need a hand, not a hand out. Capitalism unchecked will collapse. There must be a public service side even though it is hard to implement. Gore is competent enought to make it work, I hope. But not to try in this period of unbridled wealth would be a national disgrace.
