I remember how sad you were last year when the girls left, and I ached with you, though I only had the first going off, because I knew my time was coming.
I don't know that Ammo can get in UCSC-- I am very pissed right now at our school. I just learned that when they calculate the GPA on a 4 point scale, they don't add weight for Honors classes and they count ONLY Eng.MAth History, and Sciences. This is REALLY bad news for Ammo, and it makes me angry becuase it penalizes a kid who took the harder road. Not that AMmo exactly took a harder road- well, he took it, but then he sort of wandered back and forth along it, smelling flowers and not worrying when he found himself in the field next to it.
In other words, he's paying the price for having had a great time in high school.
So UCSC will be the dream school, the one you probably can't get in, but maybe they will misread your transcript or like your face or something.
CW never did come home, and that was a big disappointment.
Oh GOod news!!!! Ammo just got the male lead in the first production this year! The play is Ondine (i've never seen it or read it) He plays Hans. I think it was done in the 50s and the title role was Audrey Hepburn.
He says, "it's really weird."
