I asked about you on the WSTL Thread .. was wondering. Anne and I are packing for Maine. Headed to CT to see her mom. I get to meet her mom 1st time. Then on thru VT to ME then Nova Scotia. Gonna chow out on Scallops and Bugs. Maybe even some Bug Thermador. Back thru Canada along the St Lawrence and a little fishin on the way. Packing heavy clothes. So if you check out the Charts thread and I'm not around .... I won't be a Stranger for long. :) Having a Bear Boxed Lunch today .... compliments of Mr. [ MSTR ]. Looked like it had marinated long enuff. Seems rather good too. I'll let you know if I get a stomach ache from it soon. Looked at a Fixer upper .. desperate seller on a lake over the weekend. OMG !!! it was a Trash heap. I thought it just needed a new roof and some TLC but ... Holy Jelly Beans!! They had put on an addition that screwed up the entire house. I don't think the footer was deep enuff and when they tied into the Frame and when the New Footer shifted ... it pulled the entire house. It had 6 glass sliding doors and they wouldn't open or close well because of the foundation shift, none of which were in the addition .. What were they thinking anyway. I'll never ceased to be amazed at some of the do-it your self ideas I saw there. Took a bunch of Pics, loaded em on the puter and that's when I noticed the rest of the stuff they messed up. Back to the drawing board and the MLS book. .. Darn ... it was a beautiful property too. Double lot .. Apple trees Huge Elm .. Plum .. on a private lake. Afraid to make an offer ... may wait to see how long it takes to hit the Auction block. Looked nice from the street!!! :) Had Fiber to Curb appeal. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrummmmmmmmmmp!
