LOOK COMMUNICATIONS SPONSORS CYBER CAFE
Travelling Internet Exhibit Designed to Educate and Entertain Canadians
Through Informational Workshops, Special Guest Presentations and Interactive
Games

Toronto, ON - August 21, 2000 - Look Communications Inc. today announced its
sponsorship of the Cyber Cafe National Education Tour, an initiative
designed to educate and entertain Canadians of all interests and levels of
ability about the Internet and its applications for personal and business
use.

Cyber Café will be set up in larger shopping malls across Canada for
four-day sessions. Mall shoppers and surrounding communities are invited to
seat themselves at the high-tech, interactive display which features
state-of-the art computers and monitors at each station, a complete audio
system, large theatre screen and professional staff to present the latest
Internet topics and answer questions.

"Cyber Café is first and foremost a learning centre which strives to promote
education and a better understanding of the functionality and opportunities
associated with the Web," says David Parkes, President and CEO, Look
Communications Inc. "But it's also about fun. So we've lined up premier
presenters, developed innovative programs and invested in cutting-edge
design, equipment, games, music and technology to ensure that people are
having fun while they learn."

"These days it's easy to believe that everyone knows how to use the
Internet. But recent statistics show that in truth, less than half of
Canadians know how to get on the Internet and even fewer know how to use the
Web effectively," continues Mr. Parkes. "Cyber Café is designed to provide
an introduction and overview for first-timers, while offering savvier
surfers the opportunity to try the latest technology and possibly learn
something new."
Visitors to Cyber Café will have the opportunity to participate in business
workshops such as "How to Get Your Business Online" and "The Wireless World
of New Technology;" attend seminars showcasing the latest technology and Web
applications; and compete in games such as www.trivia <http://www.trivia>,
car racing, "Pick the Hitz" and on-line bingo. Sessions will also be
organized specifically for first-time users and seniors.

School tours, conducted in partnership with local elementary school boards,
will be organized as part of the Cyber Café and will endeavour to educate
and entertain children by teaching them the latest Internet technologies and
activities. One of the highlights of the school tour is a multi-media
presentation delivered by famed naturalist Kim Mayberry that showcases
animals in their natural habitat with sights, sounds, games and
interactivity. Through this fun presentation children will learn more about
how to use the Internet as a research tool and educational resource. The
learning will continue with follow-up school visits three months after the
event.

The first Cyber Café will be launched in September with plans to travel to
more than 20 cities over the next several months. Cities included on the
tour to date include: Toronto, Ottawa, St. Catharines, Ontario, and Surrey,
British Columbia.
