JMAR Technologies (jmar: news, chart) is surging 1 27/32, or 27.3 percent, to 8 19/32, in early action. On Friday, the San Diego, Calif., semiconductor firm it expects sales from its new VeloSync semiconductors and other telecommunications memory devices to reach $25 million to $30 million in 2001 and double that in 2002. The company also said it expects fiscal 2001 sales at its Precision Systems unit to grow 30-to-40 percent above last year's level. |
