Interesting argument, but I think it's sophistical. The acts you are complaining about are, as you put it, someone who posts regularly on the Clown-Free thread going to another thread, harassing the regulars, and then coming back to the Clown-Free thread to post a link to the fray as some form of "trophy." If that happens, I am not aware of it, and a fortiori that person is not acting as my agent.
I think common sense and common decency should tell you that, but if not, and I have to spell it out for you, I think I speak for everyone, not just regulars on the Clown-Free thread, but everyone who posts on SI. I don't deny that some people act in concert, but that should be patently obvious, because they are not only acting simultaneously but encouraging each other. Simultaneous acts may or not be acting in concert, it may be a coincidence.
I don't know what threads you post on, but I certainly would not attribute your acts to any other person on any thread you post on. |
