...of old pickups and burnouts

When I was 14, growing up on a farm, my dad brought home a nearly new '54 Dodge V8 pickup. (He swore he didn't know it had the V8)

My favorite trick was to back into a gravel lane (most farm kids started driving at around 13) and break it loose from a standstill in 2nd gear, and rip off about a 50 foot patch when I hit the blacktop.

It was a highly respected performer around my area, as I routinely dusted the Olds 88's, Buick Centurys, and the new (then) Chevy V8.
