38K per year. Wow, if the numbers are right the average family could get one of those 16oz sodas instead. $1 + tax. Or they could join the dollar-a-day pledge drive to their local public television station. How much tax break for a $250,000 family of four? I look at in in a risk/reward ratio. If Gore can keep the economy trucking I won't need an extra soda every day. If Bush derails it a soda isn't going to make me feel much better. TP
