JDS Uniphase Senior VP Pettit Files To Sell 200,000 Shrs

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--JDS Uniphase Corp. (JDSU) Senior Vice President Dan
Pettit filed to sell 200,000 shares of the company's common stock, according to
a Form 144 released Monday by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Pettit listed Aug. 14 as the approximate sale date for the shares.
Thomas Weisel Partners LLC was listed as the broker for the transaction.
As reported, Pettit recently filed to sell 200,000 company shares on Aug. 9.
JDS Uniphase designs, develops, manufactures and distributes fiber-optics
communications products.
A Form 144 indicates an intention to sell restricted stock, but isn't a
commitment to do so.
