Correction: I was just re-reading the notes I posted from the annual meeting. I left an important word out of one sentence: More about JPSI: They did a study of comparables for JPSI. The companies studied were: August Technology, Veeco, Zygo and Newport. The projections they arrived at were $14M in sales for 2000, $20M for 2001 and $26M for 2002. These sales would come from the new line of products JPSI is introducing, which include the Atomic Vision instruments capable of one-one thousandths of a micron (one nanometer) resolution. (I left off resolution originally.) Meanwhile, I can almost guarantee that this board has no effect on the stock price. I posted the higher sales projections for JMAR right after the annual meeting and the stock hardly budged. Today those projections were in a news release and the stock jumped over 2 points. Betty
