That's an International Harvester Combine. IH has evolved from McCormick and Farmall.

It's toward the rear of the combine ain't it? Yah, it's pointed down. Those small disk wheels are the chaff spreader.

Now you got it!! He's not turning the stalks etc. under when he combines. He comes back later with a tractor pulling a 30 foot wide disc or chisel to turn the ground. A combine doesn't have the traction or horse power to pull either implement. For owning a farm you don't know squat about the equipment.
