Yogi, I just watched the first day of the Jeopardy Tournament of Champions, and I would have kicked their butts today. And these are our best and brightest. Of course, it may not have been their subjects today, but some of the stuff they didn't answer seemed elementary school, IMHO.
Meanwhile, I sat by the phone today (o.k., that may be too dramatic, but I did carry a phone with me <g>) waiting for a call from Regis. That low-down monochromatic tie wearing sonofagun didn't pick me randomly again. This is about the 12th time I've passed the entry test for Millionaire and didn't get a call. I know there is only a one in 1100 chance, but I am usually the one in every crowd. <g>
I decided to get on that show since they ask such difficult questions as, "What is the main ingredient in toast?" With four multiple guess answers, one of which is bread. Oh, yeah, we are dumbing down in this country. And, since we lead the world technologically, think of how bright those foreign folks must be. Yow!!!! |
