a world where "the magic goes away"; perhaps Merlin might find it of interest...

Why would he have any interest? His crystal ball shines as it resides beside his monitor in the palm of an imitation of the real Merlin. And he has his name firmly affixed to the base of his flat-panel display, thanks to a gentleman who has not yet been thanked for the nameplate. All of this is anecdotal evidence that the possibility of losing his magic is non-existent. His crystal ball sez so.
