gdr, buffet put it most succinctly - there has never been a better time in history to monetize investor ignorance. I missed him saying that but I agree. however, i did take and understand econ 101 - a feat that the markets continually show is quite rare. This is for sure. One I am still trying to come to grips with is not placing fulfillment costs in the cost of goods sold. That is a key retail metric and I believe if that is done in Amazon's case, gross margin are zero or possibly negative. My accountant would never pass an audit on my firm if I did not place fuflillment in COGS. The bank would not accept the statement for basing a line of credit, etc. Glenn
