I did provide a link, here it is again. Look's to me like ~50% run rate going out of 2000, 40% now. But just my eyeball estimates. Even more interesting, it shows Mainstream PC's 100% Rambus going out of 2001. intel.com;
It appears that MacWilliams isn't going to present the memory pitch at this week's IDF. A lot of people were looking forward to an update, including most on this thread I would imagine. (He's the one who made the memory presentation at Spring IDF).
In that case, it would appear that you're saying that Intel was way too optimistic, and the DRAM guys were pessimistic. Correct?
Yes, for Mainstream PC's. But I think the memory guy's came closer than Intel <g> Rambus appears to be doing well in work stations, maybe better than expected.
