You really do have an 18th century mind. I've completed several successfull projects, some I would bet you use at least weekly, and I didn't know how the operations worked. I did know how to locate the people who could get it done, and I recognized what it meant to be done. That's how the modern economy works these days. There's not as much calling for the village smithy or cobbler these days. You have to know process and count on others to know some of the details.
