Well, in my opinion....
Jain was very arrogant, defensive, downright cocky and made a HUGE (stupid?) mistake when he called all wall street analysts LEMMINGS.

After all theses years of watching go2net suffer due to lack of analyst coverage, I feel that that was truly a bad move (a.k.a. foot inserted DIRECTLY in mouth). I wouldn't doubt if there were repercussions from that comment.

Steve Frank of cnbc asked him about the fact that the Piper Jaffrey analyst Safa Rashtchy had negative feelings/comments about the merger and that's when he called all analysts lemmings. That's not going to get him too many brownie points on Wall Street. Might as well just can the next roadshow, who's going to want to support his company now that he's given them all an industry wide smack in the face on national tv?

Frank also "highlighted" the fact that the go2net broadband initiative which INSP paid such a high price for is "experimental" and only in a testing phase... he made that sound real negative.

I missed his response to Frank's question about the multi- million dollar termination fee due if the merger doesn't go through. Anyone who heard his answer, please post...
