Thank you Alan & Steve for putting it all so well(the Expo..what else) And thank you Eric for making a truely great dinner happen. I hope it becomes an ongoing tradition with many more DF members joining in for a long time to come. For some extraneous info on the Expo: overall it seemed bigger, more orderly than last year's…a little like a car show maybe - there was even a Mercedes raffle up for grabs… An area with 3 live L2 demo shows blasting all at once was pretty daunting… The best freebie givaway was perhaps Tradecast's yellow & black leopard carryall… easy to spot everywhere :) Seminar attendees all got a tutorial sylabus the size of the yellow pages that you had to carry w/ you to all the courses :( plus all the other stuff you picked up along the way… The good part that Steve mentioned, was all the slide/ref material was in there so you could just pick up the audio tapes for any you course you missed & you got the full picture… Overall it was an inspiring and energising experience. Best of all was networking with other traders and putting faces to nicks of net friends and making new ones in this odd complex profession we are all persuing here :) dotty
