Do you think that is why Clinton is so vilified, because he is Southern ? Of course he isn't vilified by most people in the center of the political spectrum, who really don't care,- but he IS vilified in a rather strange way by crackpots on the right. Not that he didn't do some bizarre things- but sexcapades is what Washington is all about (LYING too- I remember Iran Contra struck me as very anti-Constitutional and threatening to our Democracy and WAY worse than the Clinton mess.) I watched all of Iran Contra and I was sickened at how our foreign policy was being run, and how EVERYONE involved was lying about it. No one seems to remember those hearings very well, but I do.
