Scumbria, 2. 1.5Ghz 0.13u Mustang comes out in Q1 (probably) The FAQ says this: “Mustang” Enhanced version of AMD Athlon processor with reduced core size, lower power requirements, and up to 1MB of on-chip, performance-enhancing L2 cache memory. Manufactured on a 0.18 micron copper process technology. Multiple derivatives of the Mustang core are planned to address the requirements of the high-performance server/workstation, value/performance desktop and mobile markets. amd.com I know that the process technology has a number of parameters, where .18u process from company A is different from .18u process from company B. Can AMD have improvements in the process and still call it .18u, but this new process has improved parameters? Or how else do you interpret the statement from FAQ? Joe
