Hi Neo, I've been reading through the posts about your trip. So Paris was not quite what you expected? I was surprised to hear there is quantity over quality at the Louvre, a place I always thought had the creme de la creme. I knew that Americans had acquired many masterpieces, but all the good stuff? You described the contemporary collection at the Pompidou Center as chauvinistic. I've never heard paintings described that way. What does that mean?

It sounds like your trip was an exhausting whirlwind. I think if I ever go there I'll skip the packaged tour. Judging by your last post, you were really glad to be home.
