I would like the poobahs of the LP to explain why anyone should send them money when in 1996 they solicited funds for the purpose of buying advertising, but spent only $8,840 of its $1,412,368 war chest on ad buys. The rest of the money (loot?) went to pay "consultants."

It wouldn't be so bad if they'd admit that Project Archimedes was a flop and things didn't go like they thought they would. But we have the same crew four years later. They need to shake things up a bit. Harry Browne articulates the message OK, but lets face it, he's a vanilla candidate. He promised things would be different this time because he would stress wedge issues. That hasn't happened. He still sounds as pompous and ponderous as ever. Bumper Hornberger was the right guy for the job.
