Intel admits it is investigating DDR-SDRAM for P4. Tom Pabst.

Well, I've got to admit I'm surprised this was discussed on the day prior to IDF.
While not officially part of IDF, it confirms my belief that Intel will be ready to move with market requirements. While "exploring DDR-SDRAM" doesn't imply any commitment, it indicates serious concern. I'm sure that Jack and Bert will have their spin on this.
Note also that Intel confirms volume shipments of P4 with DRDRAM in Q4.
