Gawd, MACR getting a pounding today! Down almost 10 points!

Funny, there is no news out there.... surely, our very own tight-as-a-drum Macromedia has not been guilty of selective disclosure? Oh no, it's probably just one of those strange coincidences that the stock suddenly moves 12% on over twice average volume, after trading for only two hours...

There is a rumor on YaHoo (gee, imagine that) that the news, or not-news, is that the big lawsuit has been settled for $10M. This strikes me as unlikely... but if this is the catalyst for the move, then we have a good buying opportunity here.

In fact, if the move is related to any rumors about the silly Adobe lawsuit, this represents a good buying opportunity.

But since only the people selling these big blocks know for sure what's up, it is NOT a buying opportunity here because the average investor is still in the dark about what's going on...

Still waiting to hear what someone else obviously knows,

-- Pete
