Here is an interesting question, which I don't know if anyone will wish to tackle, or even if this is the proper forum for it, but here goes.

I have noticed many times in trading that my gutt says, exit this, or short this or go long right now on that. Invariably, when I don't take action, the gutt was right. If I do, the gutt was wrong.

Is there a way to discern when a gutt call is the correct one? Many times the "gutt" calls would lead to super gains, better than other types of trading off of TA or FA, but there is a certain amount of fear attached to trusting one's gutt.

Any thoughts on this?
