One thing I have learned from reading the Michael Burke thread over the years is not to recommend any stocks. [that's his job]<g>
Yes I do come from the beautiful north and that beautiful north [Timmins] produced 65 million oz of gold , Hollinger,Mcintyre, Dome,and is still producing, and it also can lay claim to having the largest base metal mine of it's type in the world, the Kidd Creek mine found by Texas Gulf Sulphur in 1964. That mine is now being deepened to 10,000 feet and they still do not know how deep it goes. The known reserves of Kidd are over 170,000,000 tons.
What Timmins has that only a few other regions of the world have is incredible geology. That is why I am taking on this project to hopefully find another deposit that will create "REAL" wealth, and provide you southern'ers with more platinum/palladium for your cat's in your 6000 pound SUV's.
As for the "hockey" shot...........I used to love playing against the "little" Frenchmen from Noranda,[or Stoney Creek}...........they were just the right height for my elbows in the corners. <g> e |
