Eric; It is an assumption with some logical basis:
Step outs have put a width of 250 meters, and open in part widthwise to the deposit(varies) and possibly some thousands of meters long.. So if this rich hole is more or less centrally located the assumption of width is acceptable, and may be more, as it is 125 meters to the barren edge or open areas. Long upward fed zones like this usually have a "spine", the area of max vent activity, and max deposition. Possibly this is a spine hole, and the spine has length, and when located there may be a band 25-50 meters wide of very good grade for several thousand meters(more or less about 10-20% shorter than the deposit) The deposit then attenuates off the ends and to the sides and we get that 125 meters to uneconomic zones($11/ton??) off the sides and ends. The spine can be interrupted by later events, but by and large its effect will be there along the entire zone, and that area may be quite deep, and could be a place for a deep DD hole.It will be quite interesting to see if the B deep DD hole is in that area?? It could also run onto the CB, and may be what Brito is keen on.
