Just shows you how much ignorance there is out there. In this poll, Gore is viewed as the best candidate to help the middle class, the most able to manage the economy and the most able candidate to improve the health-care system. Government should keep hands off the middle-class and any other class, get out of the business of trying to micro-manage the economy and definitely stay out of the health-care industry. The inflation of health-care has outstripped every other major industry by far and has been doing so ever since LBJ's "Great Society" days. Government health programs have driven health-care costs to untenable levels. To offset government inflationary-socialistic programs HMOs were first created to save the industry. Medicare and MedicAid are scams that the American people bought hook,line and sinker. According to Fox News, the cost of Gore's new health-care scheme for children would cost $700 PER MONTH PER CHILD for every child in the program. This is many times what it would cost just to buy the kids a comprehensive Blue Cross health insurance policy. It doesn't surprise me, however,it's just more of the same. An elephant is a horse designed by a government agency. FT
