Someone actually did that a couple of years ago with a gas trust in the same field as SJT. I believe it was Burlington Royalty Trust. Those guys a standing in some tall cotton now with NG prices doubling.

I like SJT better than TRU precisely because of the reserves and because you can get some tax leverage on the SJT yield.
