Finally, some intelligence on this subject. Thank you, PT:

"John Magill disagrees with the idea “that shareholders can combat the MM short position by calling in their certs and requesting shareholders to notify their brokers not to loan out shares.

“While that appears to be a noble attempt to stop the naked shorting of OTCBB stocks, it's immaterial. Here's why.

“First, when the MMs naked short an OTCBB stock, they don't borrow any shares from anyone. They simply sell shares they DON'T have. No borrowing involved. They just PFA (pluck from air) the stock and sell it. "

The suggested alternative, though, isn't a practical one for EDIG:

"“Our position,” he wrote. “is to raise enough cash in our company to buy back stock to such a degree as to force the MMs back into the marketplace."
