Hi Michael,
Taking a break before we go to Ammo's baseball game. A couple of things that occur to me. You can do nothing to really help or change you friends' relationship. Don't put yourself in the middle. You can listen without being judgmental or taking sides. And most importantly, you can try to keep whoever is talking to you focused on the children and what is best for them. Gosh, that's so sad. I'm amazed that people can so cavalierly destroy children's lives and convince themselves that they're not doing so or that it's justified because they're unhappy. Remember too, that usually, there are a lot of complex reasons a marriage fails, and while one partner's actions may look reprehensible, there have been two people contributing to the failure. (Unfortunately, leaving and immediately moving in with someone else doesn't say much about his character.)
THere was a program on the radio yesterday as I picked up the kids; it was based on a survey that claimed 75% of married couples cheat. Anyone want to touch that one????
