OK, we do not agree. Yes, I actually did raise some children (2). I was a single parent from the time my son was 16 and daughter 14. My parenting style definitely not "back seat."

Both UC grads (LA and Irvine). My son is asst. head master/chem teacher at private school in LA - daughter is a vp with one of largest investment firms on Wall St.

We enjoy each other lots and are in touch most days - often several times. I will be the first to admit to being damn lucky.

And, BTW, power and the will to use it are not synonymous with being a bully. Judgment counts.
