Globalstar will provide possum hunters with the communication they need. The helicopter is probably just the access vehicle, then they run around the bush collecting or catching their possums.

The anti-fur business is a shame. Possums ravage New Zealand bush [they are an introduced pest]. The fur is really nice! The fibre is short, so they mix it with Merino wool or other to make really soft, warm, knitted clothes.

It's a luxury business because sheep run in a crowd and hang out on the ground, so you just need to chase the whole lot into the shearing shed. Possums are little, hide in the top of trees by themselves and are not very visible [not moving much] so earning a living by killing and plucking possums is hard yakker. Shearing them would be unkind [they need the fur for warmth] and in any event would be impractical, with fur, claws, teeth and blood everywhere! The shearer's blood! I suppose the possum carcass goes into pet food [but don't know - maybe not economic to haul out of the bush].

Anyway, there are a lot of Globalstar phones needed [at the right price] in the NZ bush.
