gdr, amzn isn't failing b/c bezos neglected something. the entire concept of minting money in e-commerce is FUNDAMENTALLY flawed. he could have spent a trillion on marketing. significantly reducing consumer ignorance is just flat out bad for profits since consumer ignorance is the number 1 profit factor. the internet brings on price competition so fierce that sharks swim away.
