Everything is in place for AMD to ship huge numbers of high speed Duron and Athlon processors in Q4 with good ASP. I see no problem with AMD hitting their 9 million target. I expect good availability of 1.2 Ghz DDR Athlon by mid-Q4. I expect 1.4 Ghz DDR Athlon in early Q1. This should be enough to allow AMD to hold its own against the P4 at that time. However, it appears that Mustang and Corvette will be Q1 products; though I would not be against paper launches in mid Q4.
