I've been following a community mutual fund that makes its transactions based on the community of stock picker.

Yesterday, the fund dropped RBAk.

The fund posts all of its transactions on-line. Also the community site has its own message boards that have some pretty good analysts.

Take a look.

So, you felt compelled to run over here and announce that Redback was going to fall like a rock simply because one of your community members decided to sell Redback?

Redback happens to be one of my investments that I have studied a little more in depth than some of my others over the past year. Would you be able to share with us why your fund made the decision to 'drop' Redback from its holdings? I did follow the link, clicked on the heading "mutual fund" to see this list of equities. Is this the fund? The one with 50 to 52 different positions? Sounds like an interesting idea

I see the fund started 11/99 and has 50% return since then.

If we use a 10 month return, Redback is up 139% in that time period while your fund is up 50% and the Nasdaq is up 33%.
