Hi Elmer. The differences between then and now are: First, Intel says that 1.13 GHz is all they will get from the 0.18-micron process technology. Second, while the 733 MHz processor was not running at a "overclocking voltage" the 1.0+ GHz processors are. Third, Intel wants to establish a significant speed gradient between P-!!! and P-4.
