RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif., Aug 22, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Viking Components, one of the world's largest and fastest-growing manufacturers of OEM and upgrade component technology, Tuesday announced it is the first in the industry to receive validation through Rambus(R) test labs for its 64 MB 800 MHz SO-RIMM(TM) modules for networking and communications platforms.
Viking SO-RIMMs support the Sitera PRISM network processor used in networking and communications systems and are based on Rambus high-bandwidth, high-speed memory technology to maximize the processing speed of smart switches, routers and networking applications.
