That is excellent that the developers from, who, Red Hat or VA Linux, and Intel, etc., have gotten all the way to making failover with clusters work. These applications, when they are ready to go, are a lot more important to IA64 than the clock frequency (assuming Itanium gets the transactions per minute it needs to). Failover, as you may know, is a feature with Microsoft Cluster Server (MSCS) now for NT4.0 and W2K. Hopefully, it's in the works for 64 bit Windows also (better be).
