LINMOR Selected by TELUS to Manage Performance of ATM Core and Access
Networks

Canada's Second Largest Telecommunications Company's Choice of NEBULA Performance Monitor Further Demonstrates LINMOR's
Adoption by the Carrier Industry

OTTAWA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 22, 2000-- LINMOR Technologies (CDNX:LIR. - news), the leading developer of real time performance management systems for managing
the Internet Network Infrastructure, announced today that its NEBULA(TM) Performance Monitor (PM) has been chosen by TELUS, the second largest telecommunications company
in Canada, to manage the performance of its ATM core and access networks.

``We chose LINMOR's NEBULA PM because it provides us with real-time, proactive network performance monitoring and reporting,'' said Leona Powell, Manager of Operational
Support Systems for TELUS. ``The high scalability of NEBULA PM, including its ability to monitor multiple vendors' equipment such as Cisco, Newbridge/Alcatel and General
Datacomm, enables us to effectively manage all of the elements in our network. Compared to other solutions we investigated, LINMOR's NEBULA PM is the ideal performance
management system for our needs.''

TELUS will use LINMOR's NEBULA PM applications to identify areas of heavy network traffic and determine if the current infrastructure can adequately carry the traffic flow on
TELUS' ATM core and DSL access networks. With the competitive nature of the carrier market and the increasing demand for greater bandwidth, carriers must deliver fast, flexible and
reliable networks for their customers. NEBULA PM will enable TELUS to proactively plan for and take steps to prevent frustrating network slow downs and outages, all of which
results in premier quality of service.

``TELUS is an exceptional customer win for LINMOR,'' said John Farrell, President, Chairman and CEO of LINMOR Technologies. ``We are very excited about the opportunity to
work with TELUS as it further demonstrates the value of our technology for the network service provider industry.''

This agreement with TELUS comes just two weeks after LINMOR's US$300,000 order from a leading North American service provider. With other announcements on the way,
LINMOR's NEBULA product is rapidly establishing market leadership.
