Article on HLIT

I don't agree with this person's opinion that HLIT is a take over candidate for NT, JDSU or CSCO. None of these companies have any presence on the cable infrastructure side except from some exposure to cable modems. On top of that JDSU does not built system, but sub-components and HLIT is in the systems business. Given the slower growth of cable infrastructure deployment, the lack of content that consumer really want or need and the lack of momentum in the last mile for additional consumer broadband services versus business services I can't see them being taken over soon. The really money is in providing bandwidth to business where the margins are higher not consumers.
