My concern is not that the SPs don't value G, it's that the SPs value other things (e.g., expanding their territories, working through mergers, bidding on auctions, expanding services to existing sub base, etc.) more than G and therefore don't allocate resources to G. Of particular concern is the people* resources that are required for G* to succeed, particularly on the marketing side. For instance, look at the paltry number of employees shifted from Verizen to GUSA. With such a tight labor market in the U.S. and abroad, it's tough to get qualified people, so allocation of existing resources becomes a prime issue. Does G warrant a piece of those existing resources? I hope so, but I don't know.
