Sector,
<<Maybe he could get a job with CNBC? (My CNBC classic was when Joe Kernen confused ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) with bank ATM machines during a discussion of FORE systems [I think] some time back <g>)>>

Apparently you have better things to do with your time than watch Squawk Box cover to cover every day. If you did, you'd know Joe was joking. This kind of thing is a standing joke on CNBC though Joe obviously gets called on the carpet from time to time by management for his clowning around so he, or David, occasionally reminds people he is just joking. He frequently does the same thing with the names of CEO's that are similar to some celebrity's name. Conseco(sp?) is one that comes to mind.

When I first started watching, before he and later David, got married, I got sucked into the standing joke that he and David were (perhaps gay) roommates. They still occasionally joke about the old days when they roomed together. No matter what he says, some people still believe he wears a topee.

On a more pertinent note, it is obvious from recent discussions that you and several others now subscribe to the Gilder Report (which comes out tomorrow morning.) Do you remember a statement by him that terabit routers would be made unnecessary or obsolete by one of the technologies he was discussing. I've been searching back issues but haven't spotted it yet. (My house is being heavily remodeled so it is difficult to sustain any train of thought or research.) If you remember such a statement, what was the context and do you agree and if so how soon would it affect CW?
Bob
PS. If Grant goes to Princeton, he'll get to play DePaul his freshman year.
