MSFT provides much of the "air" which corporations and individuals need to function. You don't see any value in that? McNealy and Ellison provide excellent rhetoric, but really lack the substance behind what they say. What are you typing your messages into? Windows? Internet Explorer? Both? Please be honest:-)

BTW, please spare us any Linux/Unix/Mac argument. The Wintel architecture is not going away anytime soon; if you believe otherwise, you are indeed naive. Look at the inroads MSFT has been making into the Unix area already. And regarding stability, EBAY has crashed how many times and it runs on what?????

It simply does not make sense to have multiple operating systems. If the future is all about efficiency and productivity, then I believe I will be proven correct. I work at a harware company; providing drivers for multiple OS's simply means less time spent on each OS and as a result more bugs en total.
