Lemmings do it every couple of years, they just do it faster. :o)

I don't know when the period of human expansion will end, but realisticly it has to some time, then different evolutionary rules will be in place. I can't say what, because I don't know what the selection criteria will be at the time. If I had to bet, it would be on beauty and brains, but it could easily be strength or the local tribal characteristic of the group that conquers the world.
