what has is the connection between the 'e' and your father? was he buying bulletin board stocks?

i have participated in the BB mania too...but was well aware that one day it would come to a sudden end, which it did. one of my experiences was that sometimes a stock suddenly became eligible for an 'e' unexpectedly, after having filed diligently for many a quarter. had to keep my eye all the time on this, especially after regulations got stiffer.

anyway, i can imagine that some people did not get out of that bubble within the bubble intact.
my method was to keep the number of outstanding positions always at a manageable level, so as to ensure i would keep the bulk of my profits when the bidless zero liquidity emergency arrived on the scene.

recently i had a look at some of the stocks i used to trade, and noticed they have all gone back to where they came from originally...to tell the truth, i didn't do too much due diligence on these trades either, the market was moving too fast for that. but i never regarded them as investments...just a sector of the mania that could be exploited if one was nimble.
